Sunset on the Grand Staircase
A short, narrated walk timed so you climb the 87-statue staircase as the sun drops behind the Pyramids of Giza.
We meet 45 minutes before sunset on the lower landing of the Grand Staircase. As the light moves across the statues — Ramses II, Hatshepsut, Khafre — your guide tells the story of each one in roughly the same time it takes the shadow to pass it.
By the time you reach the top, the Pyramids on the western horizon are catching the last orange. The walk ends with a glass of hibiscus tea on the panoramic deck.
